Newspaper interview about "no breeding"

Day62
I decided to send my “no bad hair days” to wig stores. That should be at least as much of a match as for hair salons. I think about a third of the emails came back “unable to deliver” though. Kind of frustrating…

Day63
I was at the gym today and when I got back in the car saw I had a voice mail from John. He said a reporter from the Frederick Maryland Post had called and wanted to talk to me about my press release for “no breeding”! I called her when I got back and we talked about what “no breeding” actually meant and she said they were going to run the article for No Spay Day tomorrow and would mention my site! That inspired me to send another 40 emails!

Learning about free classified ads

Day16
My third sale! A “no coffee” mug from Illinois! Still working on press releases and tweaking site and learning about search engines and affiliates! Also sent out a ton of free classified ads! At one site I did every state individually! Am starting to get junk email to my givituprequests@yahoo.com address!

My first press release

Day 4
I sent a press release to the local papers with the "Wear Your New Year’s Resolution" theme and a lot about CaféPress in general:

"Just in time for New Year's new online shop offers you the opportunity to wear your resolution on their stylish apparel; sweatshirts, hoodies, tank tops, t-shirts, baseball caps or display it on mugs, buttons or magnets.

I know of at least 2 papers that printed it.
I also made up a couple dozen flyers and put them up at grocery stores, the YMCA and the library.
